乙二胺
ethylenediamine
    最简单的二胺。又称1,2-二氨基乙烷。分子式H2NCH2CH2NH2。无色透明的粘稠液体,有氨的气味。熔点8.5℃,沸点116.5℃,相对密度0.8995(20/20℃)。溶于水和乙醇,微溶于乙醚。乙二胺为强碱,遇酸易成盐;溶于水时生成水合物;能吸收空气中的潮气和二氧化碳生成不挥发的碳酸盐。贮存时应隔绝空气。乙二胺可与许多无机盐形成络合物。
    工业上乙二胺由1,2-二氯乙烷与氨作用制取,也可由1,2-二溴乙烷与氨反应制取。乙二胺是重要的化工原料和试剂,广泛用于制造药物、乳化剂、农药、离子交换树脂等,也是粘合剂环氧树脂的固化剂,以及酪蛋白、白蛋白和虫胶等的良好溶剂。乙二胺有腐蚀性,能刺激皮肤和粘膜引起过敏,高浓度蒸气可引起气喘,严重时可导致致命性中毒。
