过早搏动之后的一段长间歇时间。心电图上可见早搏的QRS波群与前面正常QRS波群间距缩短，与其后的正常QRS波群间距延长。心电图将这段延长的R-R间距称为代偿间歇。若过早搏动，前后两个窦性心搏相隔的时间等于正常心动周期的两倍，称完全性代偿间歇，多见于室性过早搏动。若过早搏动前后两个窦性心搏相隔的时间小于正常心动周期的两倍，称之为不完全代偿间歇，见于房性过早搏动。
