The tests revealed that, although the USY catalysts showed higher conversion of coker gas oil than the ZSM-5 catalysts, the ZSM-5 zeolite could obstruct the large-molecule basic nitrogen compounds of coker gas oil from entering the catalyst pores, thus reducing its susceptibility to poisoning.
