【来源】
为豆科植物四川山蚂蝗的全草。
【植物形态】
四川山蚂蝗 小灌木。茎高40～90厘米；直径约2.5厘米，和分枝同具棱角，被紧贴着的短柔毛，后变无毛。3出复叶，小叶狭披针形，顶端者长4.2～6.8厘米，阔1～1.3厘米，侧生者较小，先端急尖，边缘微带波状，上面几无毛，下面脉上疏被短柔毛；叶柄长1～2.5厘米；托叶披针状钻形，脱落，长6～10毫米。总状花序腋生或顶生，长达26厘米；苞片似托叶，脱落；花梗长2～3毫米。花紫红色，长约5毫米；萼长约2毫米，浅裂；花冠蝶形，旗瓣圆形，先端微凹，翼瓣贴生于龙骨瓣上；雄蕊10；子房线形，几无毛。荚果长约2厘米，通常具2节，背部弯，节深裂达腹缝线，上面截形，基部楔形，果柄长3毫米。花期8～9月。 生于山地灌木林中或草地上。分布四川、湖北、贵州、陕西、云南等地。 本植物的根皮(红土子皮)亦供药用，另详专条。
