Kulongshan structure is the most important oil-controlled structure of foreland thrust belt in southern margin of Jiuquan basin,in which the Qingxi Oilfield with ten million-ton-rank of reserve has been discovered.

Fractures distribution characteristics of Kulongshan reservoir in Jiuquan Basin;

Kulongshan gold mine is located at the Middle Proterozoic fold zone between Luanchuan-Weimosi--Queshan fracture zone and Waxuezi-Qiaoduan-Minggang fracture zone in the north margin of Qinling orogenic belt.

This area underwent a widespread tectonic thermal event in Haixi period resulting in dome structure,extending fault ,secondary brittle fracture belt and brittle tough fracture belt,which played very important role to contol gold mineralization in this area.
