It is found that pollution factor in under ground water around pollutant-holding water body is consistent with high content pollutant in surface pollutant-holding water body,that is to say,mainly because of organic pollution,the higher the concentration of pollutant in pollutant-holding water body,the higher the concentration of the same pollutant in underground water.

In order to alleviate the threat of polluted water body in th e Shayinghe River and Wohe River discharge concentrated along with flood, Huaihe River Commission Ministry of Water Resources and other departments in the river basin have dispatched water gates scientifically in term of pollution joint-pre vention program, on the premise of ensuring flood control safety and engineering water supply.
