The Wangxiaya gold deposit in the Changjiang area is tectonically located at the boundarybetween the Wuzhishan fold zone of South China fold system, the Baisha depression zone and theBaoban doming area.
微量元素和主成矿元素方面，赋矿的二叠系地层、岩浆期后热液所形成的基性岩脉、石英脉含金性均远远高于地壳丰度值，说明王下金矿的形成与矿区北部坝王岭超单元花岗岩侵入期后热液有直接关系。
