射频辐射波长为3km~1m,频率为100kHz~300MHz,微波波长为1m~1mm,频率为300MHz~300GHz。其接触的作业:利用其热作用,可用于淬火,焊接,冶炼,半导体外延及区熔拉单晶,塑料粘合,干燥(木材,棉纱、低张、食品),理疗,烹调。又由于传播直进性,广泛用于广播、电视、通讯、探测及导航等。对人体的影响:射频辐射及微波的非热作用,可引起神经衰弱综合征,脑电波节律改变,血压偏低、偏高或波动,心律减慢或加速,心电图STT改变,白细胞计数偏低,血小板计数偏低,尚可有脱发、脱屑和/或白发、白眉,微波还可引起白内障等发生。影响男性性功能,精子数减少活力不足;女性月经紊乱者增加,接触微波者可引起自然流产及乳汁分泌减少。我国对微波作业及超短波作业的卫生标准分别为,8小时接触连续波允许强度为0.05mW/cm2,脉冲波为0.025mW/cm2。
