| 布尔甘油田 Burgan Oil Field 世界第二大油田，著名石油产区。位于科威特境内，距阿拉湾仅20千米。是一个复式背斜，南北长40千米，东西宽 20千米，由 3个高点组成：南部主高点布尔甘，西北高点马格瓦，东北高点哈马迪。各高点之间有断层切过或存在鞍部，但油层连成一片，有统一的油水界面（海平面以下1380米），是一个完整的油田。1934年地面调查发现中新统被油侵染。1936年打第一口探井，仅有含油显示。经重力、磁力和地震测量，1937年布尔甘1号井发现油层，但直到 1946年，油田才投入生产。1965年发现布尔甘高点下的白垩统油层，80年代在马格瓦高点发现深部古生界轻质油。 储层埋深 1100 ～1500米，主要是中白垩统的布尔甘砂岩，油柱高 335 米，平均孔隙度大于25％，渗透率1～4平方微米。油田面积 700 平方千米，可采储量 105 亿吨，最高年产量曾达1.44 亿吨 （1972）。 |
