When acid flow along the fracture, the wormhole was developed because some of rock pore or nature fractures are denuded by the acid, thus the filtrateloss of the acid mostly occurs in wormhole.

When acid fluids flow in artificial fractures, some larger pores or natural fractures are dissolved by acid to enlarge into wormholes so that acid mainly leaks through wormholes.

Through the research on the expanding law of wormhole,this paper sets down the maximum penetrating distance as the index of optimal acidizing scale,and forms the acidizing process and its matching technology for carbonate reservoir of ultra-deep wells.
