城市规划行政主管部门建设工程的竣工验收主要查验以下几个方面：
1、基础验收。检查是否是按照规划定点放线施工的与规划要求有没有出入。检查建筑物标高是否与审批的相一致。
2、主体验收。检查主体建筑是不是严格按照批准的施工图进行施工的，有无擅自修改的地方。地下室工程是否符合规划设计要求。
3、装修验收。检查室内外装修是否符合规划设计要求，尤其是室外的装修用料、施工质量、色彩效果是否符合规划要求。
4、室外验收。检查室外工程，如道路、踏步、绿化、花台、围墙、大门、停车场、雕刻、水池等是否按照规划要求施工的。检查所有的施工用临时建筑是否拆除干净。
5、综合验收。检查消防设施、环保设施、卫生设施、污水处修设施、人防设施等是否符合规划要求。
