Ammonium polyphosphate(APP)-pentaerythritol(PT)- melamine( M) systems have been chosen as an intumescent flame retardant(IFR),chlorination rubber as matrix resin to prepare flame resistant coating.

The effect of the intumescent flame retardant system on ABS/PA6(80/20) alloys was studied.

Polypropylene(PP) was fire retarded with a novel phosphorus,nitrogen and sulfur containing intumescent fire retardant(IFR),1,4-(O,O-diethyl thiophosphoryl imine) benzene (DTPB) which was synthesized by using phosphorus thiochloride,dehydrated alcohol and p-phenylenediamine.
