| 酸性氧化物 acidic oxide 能与碱发生反应后生成盐和水的氧化物。除三氧化二砷和二氧化碲之外，非金属的氧化物都是酸性氧化物。某些金属的高价氧化物也是酸性氧化物，如三氧化铬（CrO3）、七氧化二锰（ Mn2O7 ）。 简单的含氧酸脱水后生成的酸性氧化物称为酸酐，例如硫酸脱水生成的三氧化硫称为硫酸酐，硝酸脱水生成的五氧化二氮称为硝酸酐。有些酸性氧化物能直接与水作用，生成酸，如三氧化硫和水作用生成硫酸。有些酸性氧化物（如二氧化硅）不溶于水，只能与碱性氧化物发生反应，生成金属的含氧酸盐，或与碱发生反应，生成含氧酸盐： SiO2＋Na2CO3  Na2SiO3＋CO2。 |
