| 克劳斯（1874～1936） Kraus，Karl 奥地利剧作家，政论家。1874年4月28日生于波希米亚一个犹太家庭，卒于1936年6月12日。1877年随父母迁居维也纳。大学时攻读日尔曼语言文学、法律、哲学。当过演员，记者。1899年创办杂志《火炬》，在当时文化界广有影响。他的主要剧作《人类的末日》分220个场景，由许多互不相关的、彼此独立的场面组成，以极大的细节真实，表现了资本主义社会的野蛮、腐败、民族主义、军国主义、掠夺欲、权势欲等种种邪恶。1928年他又创作了讽刺剧《不可战胜的人们》。此外他还改编了莎士比亚、内斯特罗伊、阿里斯托芬、奥芬巴赫等作家的作品。 |
