| 人工放射性 artificial radioactivity 自然界不存在而通过人工产生的放射性。天然放射性仅为少数重元素所具有，它们放射a射线、β射线或 g 射线。1934年法国科学家约里奥-居里夫妇（见居里家族）用a粒子轰击铝，通过核反应  生成的 具有放射性，它可放出正电子而衰变 这是人类发现的第一个人工放射性核素。以后，各种人工放射性大量被发现。人工放射性核素主要是通过裂变反应堆和粒子加速器制备。前者，中子引起重核裂变，从产物中提取放射性核素，或利用反应堆产生的中子流照射靶核而成为放射性核素 ，它们大都是半中子核素，具有β—放射性；后者，加速带电粒子轰击靶核反应产生放射性核素，它们往往是缺中子核素，具有β+放射性。核素已超过2000种，绝大多数是人工放射性核素，达1600多种，在科学研究和生产实际中有着广泛的应用。 |
