云南澄江动物化石群位于云南省澄江县城东5公里的抚仙湖畔帽天山，主要地质遗迹类型为古生物化石。
“澄江动物化石群”保存了早寒武世(距今5.3亿年)40多个门类，100余种动物的化石。其中有海绵动物、腔肠动物、软体动物、节肢动物和疑难动物化石等。由于埋藏地质条件特殊，不但保存了生物硬体化石，而且保存了十分罕见精美的生物软体印痕化石。为研究寒武早期动物大爆发及这个时期的动物生理结构、生活习性、系统演化、生态环境提供了实物资料，是极为宝贵的地质遗迹。
