【姜黄试纸】(turmericpaper)由滤纸浸透饱和的姜黄酒精溶液制成的试纸。用来检验硼酸根离子等，取一片该试纸，放上一滴酸性被测溶液，烘干，若纸上出现红棕色斑点，加酸时斑点的颜色不改变，加碱时变成绿黑色或紫色，证明有硼酸根离子存在。
