指具有反馈控制功能的生物系统。一个控制系统由三部分构成：控制装置、执行装置和受控对象。控制装置接受信源而产生控制信号，执行装置按控制信号调控对象，该对象改变状态并输出受控量。当受控量反过来作为信源作用于控制装置，系统为反馈系统。生物系统是非常复杂而功能完美的自动控制系统，具有各式反馈。如DNA复制的自我调控、哺乳动物（如猫）的平衡控制系统和体温调节系统、肺呼吸节律控制系统、中枢神经控制系统、植物神经控制系统、内分泌循环控制系统及免疫控制系统等。许多病理现象与正、负反馈失调有关。如运动员“抽筋”和胃溃疡的一种起因，就是过强的正反馈。
