【假枯烯】(pseudocumene)学名“1,2,4-三甲基苯”,分子式`C_9H_12`,分子量120.19。比重0.8888(4/4℃)。液体。沸点169.347。折光率1.50485。经氧化、卤化、磺化、硝化、酰化、烷基化等反应形成各种衍生物。存在于煤焦油及若干石油的馏分里。亦可从催化重整或石脑油裂解所得的`C_9`-`C_10`芳烃(混合三甲苯)中分离得到。用作合成染料、树脂、杀虫剂、杀菌剂及药物等的原料。
