P一ntiekuang贫铁矿(l ean iron ore)铁品位较低的铁矿石，一般含铁为30%一40%(或以下)。它含有大量脉石，在冶炼过程中渣量很大，因而增加燃料消耗，降低设备的生产率。有时脉石中含有有害元素，影响钢铁质量。贫铁矿入炉前要进行选矿处理，提高铁含量，降低脉石含量及有害元素含量，成为铁精矿。然后制成人造富矿供钢铁冶炼之用。 (周取定)
