| 偶氮化合物 azo-compound 偶氮基 ─N  N─ 与两个烃基相连接而生成的化合物。通式R─N N─R′偶氮化合物具有顺、反几何异构体（见几何异构）；反式比顺式稳定，两种异构体在光照或加热条件下可相互转换。偶氮化合物主要通过重氮盐的偶联反应制得；氢化偶氮化合物和芳香胺在氧化剂〔如NaOBr、CuCl2、MnO2和Pb（OAc）4等〕存在下，可被氧化为相应的偶氮化合物；氧化偶氮化合物和硝基化合物在还原剂 〔如（C6H5）3P、LiAlH4等〕存在下，也可被还原为偶氮化合物。偶氮基是一个发色团，偶氮染料是品种最多、应用最广的一类合成染料；有些偶氮化合物可用作分析化学中的酸碱指示剂和金属指示剂。有些偶氮化合物可用作聚合反应的引发剂，如偶氮二异丁腈等。很多偶氮化合物有致癌作用，如曾用于人造奶油着色的奶油黄能诱发肝癌，已禁用；作为指示剂的甲基红可引起膀胱和乳腺肿瘤。有些偶氮化合物虽不致癌，但毒性与硝基化合物和芳香胺相近。 |
