滋肾养阴，益气生津。用于多饮，多尿，多食，消瘦，体倦无力，眠差腰痛，尿糖及血糖升高这气阴两虚型消渴症。
用法与用量：
口服，一次1.25-2.5g（约5-10丸）一日3次，初服者饭后温开水送服。根据病情控制情况，从每次1.25g（约5丸）递增至（约10丸）直到出现疗效时，逐渐减少为每日2次的维持剂量。遵医嘱服。
注意事项：
服用本品时严禁加服降血糖化学类药物。对严重肾功能不全，少年糖尿病，酮体糖尿，妊娠期糖尿病，糖尿性昏迷等症患者不宜使用；肝炎患者慎服；个别患者偶见格列本脲所致不良反应，请在医生指导下使用。
