有两大类:①光子射线类:包括深部X线、γ射线、各种同位素(镭、60钴、137铯等)。②粒子射线类:包括粒子加速器(电子束或中子束等),如直线加速器可治疗中等深度肿瘤,感应加速器可产生X线及电子束,中子加速器对乏氧细胞有杀灭作用。使用的方法有外照射和内照射(如组织内镭针插植)。
