Based on the liquid crystal molecules theory, two kinds of chiral liquid crystal compounds were synthesized by choosing p-bromophenol、trans-n-alkylcyclohexane Bromide、(-)-2-methyulbutanol、methyl p-hydroxylbenzoate as primary materials through the reactions of coupling、etherification、esterification et al; An important chiral dopant S811 was synthesized by choosing (-)-2-octanol as chiral group.
本论文根据液晶分子结构理论，以对溴苯酚、反式溴代烷基环己烷、(-)-2-甲基丁醇、对羟基苯甲酸甲酯等为原料，通过偶联、醚化、酯化等反应合成了两种新型的手性液晶化合物；以(-)-2-辛醇为手性基团合成了液晶手性掺杂剂S811，并将所合成的手性剂与一种宽温域型TN混晶混合，研究了手性剂的加入量对混晶各种电光特性的影响。

有些杂质在同一半导体中既可起施主作用，又可起受主作用，这种杂质称为双性杂质。杂质的双性行为的起因可以不同。一种情况是双性杂质在晶格中只占据一种位置，但能给出或得到电子而起施主或受主作用，对于这种情况一般受主能级在施主能级之上，因为只有杂质尚未给出电子时才谈得上接受电子。另一种情况是杂质在晶格中占据不同的位置，施主和受主分别由所占据的不同的晶格位置决定。
