The heat transfer characteristics of confined air jet impingement in conjunction with rectangular pin-fin heat sink on chip cooling was experimentally investigated,the average Nusselt number correlation in terms of Reynolds number,the nozzle height-diameter ratio and the Prandtl number was obtained by least square method.

Numerical results are reported for the effect of Rayleigh number on flow fields\' characteristics and the average Nusselt number on the heat source surface.
利用FLUENT软件对有离散热源的封闭腔内的自然对流换热进行数值模拟,对不同瑞利数Ra下的自然对流换热的情况进行计算,得出随着Ra的增加,空腔内部的等温线由垂直变为水平,换热逐渐从导热占主导地位变为由对流换热占主导地位,平均努塞尔数Nuave随着Ra的增加而增加;对于有离散热源的电子元件,为了增加元件的使用寿命,降低经济成本,可采用增加Ra的方法来增加元件内的自然对流换热能力。
