【来源】
为木犀科植物女贞的树皮。植物形态详"女贞子"条。
【采集】
全年可采。
【功用主治】
①《本草图经》："浸酒，补腰膝。" ②《纲目》："治风虚，切片，浸酒次之。"
【选方】
治烫伤：女贞树皮硒干研细末，茶油调敷伤处。(《浙江民间常用草药》)
【临床应用】
治疗慢性气管炎 取女贞树皮4两(干品2两)切碎，水煎3～4小时去渣，加糖，分3次服，10天为一疗程，连服二疗程。也可用虫贞枝叶6两(干品3两)；或女贞树皮6两，枇杷叶1两组成复方；制法、用法、疗程均同前。据492例观察，上列3种方法的疗效无显著差别，总有效率为89.2%。其中近期控制123例(25%)，显效139例(28.3%)，好转177例(36.9%)，单纯型的近期控制率较高，喘息型较低。疾病轻重程度不同，其近期控制率也有明显差别，以重度最低，中度次之，轻度最高。在治疗中偶有副反应出现，主要是口干、头晕、轻微腹痛、腹泻，停药后自行消失，其中有的继续服药数天后副作用反而减少或消失。
