补充资料：动物的防御行为
有些群体生活的生物，当同种生物的某一个体遇到危险时，会通过释放激素的行为来报警，“通知”群体中其他个体，起到尽量保护种群的作用。如：
(1)通过分泌某种化学物质。如受伤的鱼能产生一种物质，警告其他个体，尽快逃避或隐蔽。蚜虫被食时会发出一种外激素，使其他个体四散逃避等。
(2)通过行为以示警告。如鹿闪动白尾巴报警。警卫鸟展开尾羽或飞羽报警。
(3)通过叫声把同群其他个体聚集起来对付捕食者。如乌鸦看到猫头鹰或猫，就会发出特殊的鸣叫。
(4)有些生物能通过几种途径向同类发出警报。例如蚂蚁能发出三种警戒同伴个体的信号：由近口腔或肛门上的腺体发出警戒外激素；跳疯狂警戒舞；或用身体撞击巢壁产生警戒颤动。
