表面活性物质
又称"表面活性剂"。能降低溶液表面张力的物质。分布在肺泡的表面，现已知肺的表面活性物质是一种复杂的脂蛋白。其主要成分是二棕榈酰磷脂酰胆碱，它由肺泡Ⅱ型细胞所分泌，以单分子层辅盖在肺泡的内表面，肺泡表面张力与磷脂的浓度成反比例关系，吸气时肺泡扩大，表面活性物质分子间距增加，其浓度相应减少，呼气时肺泡缩小，其浓度增加，使肺泡不致萎缩。并可维持各种大小不一的肺泡容量的稳定性。
