北京市私立星星学校于一九九七年三月经北京市教委、北京市海淀区政府、海淀区教委批准正式成立（批准号为海政发9 号）。并于次年成为北京教科所心理健康室实验基地。法人代表校长由政协委员民主人士陈媛媛女士担任，执行校长由原北京市重点学校汇文中学教学校长任忠文担任，教学顾问由原人大附中校长朱迪生特级教师孙维刚特级教师刘梦湘特级教师张光璐共同担任，名誉校长由北京市私立君谊中学校长段君宜女士担任。
