屏气发作
breath holding spells
屏气发作(breath holding spells)为婴幼儿时期的一种神经症性发作。6个月前及6岁后者少见，最多见于2一3岁。每当婴儿受到物理因素(如疼痛)或情绪刺激后(如痛苦、恐惧、发怒或受到挫折)即高声哭叫，过度换气，接着就屏气、呼吸暂停、口唇发紫、四肢强直，严重者可以短时期意识丧失(昏厥)及四肢肌肉的阵挛性抽动。全过程约一分钟左右。然后全身肌肉放松，出现呼吸，大部分孩子神志恢复或短暂发呆，亦有立即入睡的。矫治的关键在于正确地教养，家庭成员平时对孩子既要和蔼可亲，使他感到家庭的温暖;又要耐心教育，使他自觉地严格要求自己。若过分强调不挫伤其情绪，常无原则地满足孩子的欲望，将来可造成性格上的异常。相反，若提出过分严格的要求，容易造成屏气发作频发，对健康不利。 (金互明撰赵亚忠审)
