垂杨柳医院卫生学校是国家教委正式备案的综合性医药卫生中等专业学校，隶属于朝阳区卫生局，挂靠在垂杨柳医院，故名垂杨柳医院卫生学校。我校自1973年建校以来，先后开设了护理、社区医学、预防医学、幼教保舰医务文秘等专业。为朝阳区和北京市培养了2000多名中等卫生技术人才。
我校以普通中专为支柱，护理专业为主干；同时设有职工中专部，成人大专工作站。高等护理专业自考基地，朝阳区医学继续教育培训基地等。朝阳区医药卫生学会亦挂靠我校，形成了多层次、多途径的办学体系。
