| 粉虱 Aleyrodidae；white flies 同翅目粉虱科的通称。全世界有1156种。小型，体长约1～3毫米。翅展约3毫米，雌、雄成虫皆有翅。渐变态。卵具柄，柄插在植物的组织里，使卵附着在植物上，并能给卵输送水分。若虫期4龄。蛹在其4龄脱皮壳内发育，体型扁平且逐渐加厚，体表构造清晰，外翅芽出现。羽化时，成虫从蛹壳背部裂开处直立钻出，这时翅尚未完全发育，不能飞翔，只能敏捷地爬行取食。需经一定时间后，方得正常飞行。但也有某些种类只经3龄就完成发育。中国只记载樟粉虱1种，主要为害樟科林木。 |
