| 双体船 catamaran 由两个单船体构成一个整体的船舶。两个单船体用连接桥(强力构架)连接在一起，在连接桥上布置整体船舶的舱室及其他全部上层建筑。两个单船各装备有主机和推进器，并在航行时同时使用。古代中国和印度都曾出现过双体船。现代双体船于20世纪中叶后发展较快，并在客船、渡船、交通船及工程船方面得到应用，也出现快速双体客船等型式。双体船的特点是稳定性好，而单船体窄小使航行阻力和兴波阻力减小，提高了航行速度。 |
