保税货棚(bonded shed),是指经海关批准，由私营企业设置的用于装卸、搬运或暂时储存进口货物的场所。
与保税货棚相关联的是指定保税区，两者之间的区别是：指定保税区是公营的，而保税货棚是私营的。由于保税货棚是经海关批准的，因此必须缴纳规定的批准手续费，储存的外国货物如有丢失须缴纳关税。
