【来源】
为兰科植物竹叶兰的全草或根茎。
【植物形态】
竹叶兰 多年生直立草本，高1～1.5米。叶互生，阔线形，坚挺，长10～18厘米，宽2～3厘米，无叶柄，叶鞘抱茎。总状花序顶生，长2.5～8厘米，不分枝；苞片小，凹陷；花白色或粉红色；萼长2.5厘米或过之；花瓣卵状矩圆形，唇瓣稍长，顶端阔3裂。蒴果长椭圆形，长5厘米，直径3厘米，成熟时开裂。花期秋季。 野生于湿润的草丛中或溪涧旁。分布广东、广西、云南等地。

全年可采。鲜用或切碎晒干用。

①《云南思茅中草药选》："清热解毒，祛风湿，消炎，利尿。治风湿性腰腿庙，胃痛，尿路感染，脚气水肿，食物中毒。" ②《广西药植名录》："止痛，散瘀，利水。治痧气，积热，浮肿，腹痛，疳积，黄疸，肺结核，精神病，风湿骨痛，刀伤出血，蛇伤。"
