| 毒砂 arsenopyrite 成分为铁砷的硫化物（ FeAsS ）矿物。又称砷黄铁矿。含砷达 46.01％ ， 是制取砷和各种砷化物的主要矿物原料。中国从毒砂（ 旧称白砒石 ）中制取砒霜（As2O3）历史悠久。单斜或 三斜晶系 。晶体呈柱状 ，集合体成粒状或致密块状。锡白色，金属光泽，莫氏硬度 5.5～6，比重6.2。敲击时发出蒜臭味。产于高温或中温热液矿床中。是金属矿床中分布最广的原生砷矿物 。 在地表易风化成臭葱石 （ FeAsO4 ·2H2O）。常含钴，含钴高时称钴毒砂。中国毒砂矿常产于湖南、江西、云南等省的钨锡矿脉中。
