To study the mechanical behavior of continuous composite girder,the girders of Bainain River Bridge on Hefei-Anqing Expressway are taken as the research object,and a piece of I-shape composite girder is collected from the Bridge for loading tests and for studying of the static behavior and limited safety carrying capacity of the girder.

)Longxi bridge is taken as the case study,the lateral distributional characteristic of a prestressed concrete continuous girder and arch combination bridge and variation along longitudinal direction are analyzed by using spatial finite element method,and the analysis results are compared with those of traditional calculation method for simplified elastically supported continuous gi.
