【公开市场业务的具体操作】公开市场业务操作主要包括以下几种方式: 1.直接买卖有价证券。当中央银行要增大或缩小货币供应量或认为对存款机构有提供或减少准备金的必要时，往往采用在公开市场上直接买卖有价证券的方法。美国联储当局直接买卖有价证券的典型例子是这样的:在拍卖交易过程中，根据业务经理选定的有价证券种类、期限和金额，由证券商当天出面买进和卖出。一经定盘，即按该市市价成交，业务部经理按最高价售出或最低价买进，一直到购足或售足为止。这种证券交易也可以由联储直接同外国机构进行。这种交易的工具主要是国库券，有时也包括其它证券。 「2.再购回合同交易。当只需要暂时增加准备金时，如中央银行预期影响准备金变化的某些技术性因素(如流通中货币由于季节性因素发生变化，或银行系统应收未收票据、国库存款等发生临时变化)将发生波动时，则运用这种方法。这时中央银行从证券商手中购进证券，但同时签订合同，由证券证约期(一般为1一巧天)以一定价格再购回这些证券。这样安排使银行系统的准备金发生暂时的变化，以抵消那些技术性因素给准备金带来的波动。 3.边售边购交易。当中央银行需要暂时压缩准备金供应，收缩银根的时候，一般采取边售边购交易方法、具体办法是，同甲证券商订立合同出售证券，又同乙证券商订立合同购回证券，期限通常不超过七天。开始，出售证券时使银行的多余准备金减少;最终，购回证券时，银行准备金又增加。
