| 仁川 Inchon 韩国西北部京畿道港口城市。位于江华湾内突出的半岛顶端，靠近汉江口，东北距汉城约40千米，面积200平方千米。人口181.83万(1990)。夏冬季长，春秋季短，年降水量1092毫米，年平均气温11.1℃。原为一渔港，名济物浦。1883年辟为商埠，为黄海沿岸唯一的对外贸易港。港口潮差特别大(8.1米)，最高可达10米。设有人工闸门及防波堤 。分内、外两个码头，设备较完善，为汉城仁川工业地带的重要组成部分，为汉城的卫星城和韩国第二大贸易港。轻、重工业均较发达，有纺织、食品、化学、钢铁和造船等工业 。沿岸岛屿渔业发达。第三产业职工占就业人数的67.7％。市、街分布在丘陵地上，坡度大。与汉城有铁路和高速公路相通。 |
