京师大宝集寺妙文讲主。姓孙氏。蔚州人。妙文讳也。九岁为浮图。年十有八畦服游学。跋涉云朔之墟。观风燕赵之邦。二十一预苾刍戒。抵京师依大德明公。学圆顿之道。陆沉于众者积年。三十有二以众劝请之殷。乃始赤服升猊。就传明之列。其涵养冲挹无欲速成名。不躁进求达类如此。四十有八居蓟之云泉。勤节俭用。老者怀其德。少者严其教。故众睦而寺治。比再稔廪有余粟。岁荒以赈饥民。蓟人称焉。世祖闻其道。召见之。顾谓侍臣曰。福德僧也。诏居宝集。时禅学浸微。教乘益盛。性相二宗。皆以大乘并驱海内。相学之流囿于名数滞于殊途。蔽情执之见。惑圆顿之旨。师独大弘方等。振以圆宗。使守株于文字者。有以荡涤情尘融通寂照。是以龙象蹴踏。竞附一乘之驾焉。年逾八十。益倦于勤。以寺任诸弟子。退居逸老专念佛三昧。延祐六年 月 日卒。年八十有三。告终之日。诫弟子高声唱佛名。遽起跏趺结三昧印。泊然长逝。塔于平则门外
