| 绝对真理和相对真理 absolute and relative truth 表征认识客观真理过程辩证性质的一对哲学范畴。一种见解认为，绝对真理是人的认识对客观真理的无条件的、绝对的接近；相对真理则表示人们对客观真理的认识具有近似的、相对的、有条件的性质。另一种见解认为，绝对真理是指人的认识对客观世界及其无穷本质完全的 、 无条件的、绝对正确的反映；相对真理是人的认识对客观世界及其本质不完全的、近似的、有条件的、相对正确的反映。 G.W.F.黑格尔在唯心主义的基础上，首先提出了真理是一个过程的思想。但是，黑格尔又认为绝对精神完成了自身的复归，达到绝对真理，从而终止了真理的发展。他的辩证法是不彻底的，最终被他的形而上学体系所扼杀。马克思主义以唯物主义观点改造了黑格尔的真理观，克服了它的辩证法的不彻底性，明确地提出关于绝对真理和相对真理的科学理论。它彻底地批判了不可知论，指明人类思维按其本性是能够掌握绝对真理的；同时指出在一定历史条件下，人类对客观真理的把握总是近似的、相对的。绝对真理和相对真理是相互关联的两个不同范畴，它们之间并没有固定不移的界限，而是辩证统一的。任何真理都具有绝对性的一面，相对真理中有绝对真理的成分。绝对真理是由无数相对真理的总和构成的，没有脱离相对真理的绝对真理。绝对真理和相对真理的矛盾反映了人类思维能力的至上性和非至上性的矛盾。人类的思维，按其本性、能力和可能性来说，是能够认识无限发展的物质世界的，这是思维的至上性，即无限性和绝对性。每一个人以至每一代人，由于受到客观事物及其本质暴露的程度、社会历史的实践水平、主观的条件等各方面的限制，思维又是非至上的，即具有有限的和相对的性质。这是一个矛盾，这个矛盾只有在人类世代的更迭中，在人们认识的无限的发展过程中才能得到解决。这就决定了人类对客观真理的把握是一个由相对真理向绝对真理的不断发展过程 。在马克思主义的观点看来，在绝对的总的宇宙发展过程中 ，各个具体过程的发展都是相对的，因而在绝对真理的长河中，人们对于在一定发展阶段上的具体过程的认识也具有相对的真理性。而无数相对真理之总和，就是绝对真理。 |
