In view of the structure and locomotion character of the ring valve of compressor, this paper analyses its impact load through ANSYS by the FEM, and educes the influence of the mass of the valve plate and the leaning motion of the valve plate on the impact load stress on the working process of the ring valve.

The laboratory discharge coefficient of ring valve is obtained through doing the static blowing test and the simulated discharge coefficient is gained through simulating the flow field in ring valve using Fluent software.
