| 温斯坦利（约1609～约1660） Winstanley，Gerrard 英国资产阶级革命时掘土派的领袖，空想共产主义理论家。兰开夏人。曾在伦敦做布商，破产后当雇工。英吉利共和国建立后，温斯坦利和W.埃弗拉德领导一批城乡贫民到圣乔治山开垦公用地。此后，温斯坦利撰写小册子，宣传掘土派的思想。他认为，社会上一切罪恶的根源是土地私有制。在此基础上才产生差别、暴力、战争以及专制王权。温斯坦利认为，土地应交还人民，由人民共同享有、耕种。他时而把希望寄托在人类的理智上，时而把希望寄托在统治者的开明上，不主张用暴力去实现他的理想。这种思想反映了英国当时城乡贫民的愿望。主要著作有《英国被压迫贫民宣言》、《新正义法典》、《自由法则》等。 |
