描述：Zannichelliaceae角果藻科，单子叶植物，约6属，20种以上，广布于全世界，大部生于咸水中，我国有3属，4种，各地均产之。沉水草本，生于淡水或咸水中，有纤细的根茎；叶互生或对生，或簇生于茎节上，线形，基部鞘状，具花的叶片有时退化为鞘；花微小，单性同株或异株，腋生，单生或排成聚伞花序；花被为3枚分离的小鳞片或缺；雄蕊3－1，花粉粒球形或丝状；心皮1－9，离生，有胚珠1颗，柱头头状或盾状；果无柄或具柄，不开裂。本科的属亦有被置于Najadaceae或Potamogetonaceae科内的，本词典据Hutchinson系统分出而自成一科。我国有：Cymodocea，Halodule和Zannichellia3属。
