性质:红紫色粉末。能与许多阳离子形成各种颜色的络合物,其水溶液呈深紫色,在碱性溶液中呈深蓝色,如与钙离子结合呈红色,在酸性溶液为无色。微溶于冷水,水溶液极易变质,不溶地醇和醚。

制备方法:将10g三氧化铬、4g水和40g冰乙酸加热溶解,冷却至30℃,分批慢慢加入16g巴妥酸,控制反应温度45-50℃。加毕,在50℃保温半小时,放置过夜,加入10g冰乙酸,滤集结晶物。取4g结晶物与8g水混合加热溶解,滤去不溶物。滤液移入乙酸铵-冰乙酸溶液中通氨,析出结晶,过滤,用沸乙醇洗涤,得紫脲酸铵。

用途:络合指标剂,用于钙、钴、铜、锰、镍、钪、锌等的测定。
