民丰出土“延年益寿大宜子孙”锦袜 东汉足衣珍品，1959年新疆民丰大沙漠一号墓出土。足衣基本上作成长筒状，足指部分略收小，左：长45．5厘米、宽17．5厘米；右：长43．5厘米、宽17．3厘米。左右稍有差异。锦为平纹经锦，底色为绛色，上用白、宝蓝、浅驼、浅橙色织成鸟兽云纹和“延年益寿大宜子孙”八字铭文。据夏鼐研究，这种锦需要75片提花综才能织成，是当时制作最复杂的一种织物。参阅夏鼐《新疆新发现的古代丝织品——绮、锦和刺绣》，《考古学报》1963年1期。
