| 临夏回族自治州 位于中国甘肃省中部。辖临夏市和临夏县、康乐县、永靖县、广河县、和政县、东乡族自治县、积石山保安族东乡族撒拉族自治县7县1市。面积8097.93平方千米。人口162.46万。有汉、回、东乡 、保安、土、撒拉等22个民族，回族占33.99％，多信仰伊斯兰教。1956年建立临夏回族自治州，州政府驻临夏市。全州矿产以石灰石、大理石、粘土、石膏、玉等为主，金属矿产贫乏。经济以农牧业为主。自治民族历来善经商，故商贸较发达。土特产有砖雕、冬果梨。名胜古迹有马家窑文化遗址、半山及辛甸齐家文化遗址、大拱北、万寿观、红园等。 |
