学名:Tagetes erecta

科属:菊科万寿菊属 
   
形态特征:

南非万寿菊为菊科宿根多年生草本花卉,原产南非,近年来从国外引进我国,作一二年生草花栽培。矮生种株高20-30 cm,茎绿色,头状花序,多数簇生成伞房状,有白、粉、红、紫红、蓝、紫等色,花单瓣,花径5-6cm,种子1000粒重11克左右。同属高生种株高 60cm,为亚灌木,在原产地可作切花栽培。


  
生长习性:

喜阳,中等耐寒,可忍耐-3℃--5℃的低温。耐干旱。喜疏松肥沃的砂质壤土。在湿润、通风良好的环境中表现更为优异。分枝性强,不需摘心。开花早,花期长。低温利于花芽的形成和开花。气候温和地区可全年生长。
  
应用:南非万寿菊无论作为盆花案头观赏还是早春园林绿化,都是不可多得的花材。如将其作为花境的组成部分,与绿草奇石相映衬,更能体现出它那和谐的自然美。
