| 热带系蚕品种(tropical races of mulberry silkworm) 桑蚕的地理品种之一，是在热带特定的气候条件下，经过长期的自然选择和人工选择而逐步形成的。主要分布在中国广东省和广西壮族自治区的南部以及东南亚、南亚地区。其化性均为无滞育期的多化性，眠性均为4眠。特点是一蛾产卵数少，卵形小，卵色为亮白色或淡黄白色，卵壳色为白色或淡黄色，有光泽，卵的胶着力较弱，卵期不耐冷藏。蚁蚕体色淡褐色，背光性强，但趋密性不显著。幼虫期有食桑快而行动活泼的，也有时停时吃，行动迟缓的。大蚕体形细长，体色青白带油蚕性，熟蚕透明呈白蜡色或黄蜡色。全龄经过日数较短，但食桑行动迟缓的品种相对的比较长。体质强健，抗高温多湿能力强，饲养容易，对硬化病较易感染。茧色有白、金黄、锈、淡绿等色，茧层疏松带绵性。茧形多为纺锤形，少数呈球形。茧丝量少，茧丝长较短，茧丝纤度细，分离细纤维少，净度较差。 主要品种有钦金、九白海、琼山海南、防1、防3、防4、白莲洲、加木王、演金黄、白眉蚕等。 |
