In order to revise the error caused by the flight parameter recording procedure of a given plane type,this paper discussed in details automatic interpretation technology of onboard instrument values,which utilized the instrument s image frame recorded in the onboard video and made some automatic interpretation based on the image thinning and Hough transform preprocessing.

Based on current situation of the widely used airborne video recorder system in foreign countries, the main problems existed are analyzed, the operation requirements and suggestions to development of such system in our country are put forward.
